Chicago Manual of Style Online
Members of the Northwest Editors Guild can purchase discounted subscriptions to the Chicago Manual of Style Online.
Beginning every January, Guild members can sign up for (or renew their current) discounted online access to the Chicago Manual of Style. Individual annual subscriptions to CMOS cost $44 per year, but the Guild is happy to offer its members access to our group subscription for just $39 per year beginning in January. Pro-rated prices are now active (please email info@edsguild.org to learn more).
Our discounted rate is available only to current, logged-in members.
PLEASE NOTE
Unlike Guild membership, which is twelve months long no matter when you join or renew, our group CMOS subscription with the University of Chicago Press runs from February 1 to January 31 every year.
For new subscribers to our group, in order for you to be part of the Guild group subscription, we have to create a new account for you, so if you have an existing CMOS account with the University of Chicago Press, moving to the Guild subscription will mean you will not be able to keep your saved bookmarks or style sheets. Unfortunately, University of Chicago Press is unable to port that information over.
Adding you to our group subscription and creating your account will take some time! For new members or renewals whose accounts have expired, we need to contact University of Chicago Press and make arrangements with them, which can take up to a week. Please be patient!
