July Member Meeting: Disability / Language / Grace: An Introduction

Organized and presented by a team of editors who met through the Guild’s Editing with Disability/Illness/Neurodivergence monthly chats.

Disabled people are active members of every community. Every group of writers, readers, and editors includes people with disabilities.

Join us July 8 for an introduction to the context and complexity of disability in the United States. Come away with a better understanding of disability, ableism/disablism, and disability justice. Strategize ways to use language, editing, and organizing skills to build a world where everyone is valued and everyone can thrive.

This will be a panel presentation and discussion with Q&A. Bring your knowledge, and bring your questions!
