Registration Information
Registration is open through April 30, and we’re looking forward to having you join us!
The 2023 theme, Seasons of an Editing Career, highlights the conference’s goal of providing professional development opportunities that support every phase of an editorial career—from breaking into the field, to expanding a client base, to diversifying or specializing, to exploring paths to retirement.
Choose Your Ticket Type
For the first time ever, we are delighted to present a hybrid conference, with options for live-streamed conference attendance and access to session recordings after the conference, as well as in-person attendance. The Northwest Editors Guild is offering these options to better meet the needs of all editors, making the conference more accessible for people whose health or other considerations preclude in-person attendance. Virtual ticket options also provide conference access to those who live outside the Northwest and those who want to see sessions they couldn't catch in person.
At the 2023 conference, you can choose from three ticket types: in-person conference, virtual conference (access the day-of live-stream and recorded sessions), or in-person + virtual conference (attend in person and access recorded sessions after the conference).
For information on in-person attendance, including lodging, transportation options, and Covid-19 health and safety measures, please see Attending In-Person on the About the Conference page. Or return to the Red Pencil 2023 page to learn more about donating to the scholarship fund, volunteering, sponsoring and exhibiting, and much more.
Member Rate
To receive the Guild member rate, you must be a member at the time of conference registration and be logged in on the Guild’s website. If you would like to join the Guild or renew your membership to qualify for this rate, please complete the membership application or log in to your account and follow the renewal directions on that web page. After you receive notification that your membership is active (which can take up to two weeks), you can set up your online member account and then register for the conference at the member rate.
